Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate unit operations to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to promote a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to optimize patient care and unit efficiency.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) or higher.
  • Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing, with at least one year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience.
  • Current California Nursing license.
  • Certification in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
  • Basic EKG Competence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
