Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate unit operations to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Supervise and mentor staff to promote a positive work environment and high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Manage unit resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment, to optimize patient care and unit efficiency.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Minimum three years of clinical nursing experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing, with at least one year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Medical Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Basic EKG Competence.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish).
- Basic computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs).
