Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and guidance to facilitate the growth, development, and performance enhancement of the procurement team, ensuring that objectives are achieved.
- On-Time Delivery Monitoring: Strive for total supplier on-time delivery exceeding 90% and implement corrective measures to uphold performance standards while ensuring accuracy in the ERP system regarding inventory, lead times, minimum purchase quantities, and standard costs.
- Supplier Relationship Enhancement: Negotiate and formalize agreements, manage relationships, and oversee performance to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Lead Time Management: Optimize logistics efficiency by minimizing lead times, streamlining processes, and managing work center capacity. Identify supply chain risks and devise alternative supply strategies through outsourcing and insourcing.
- Commitment to Safety: Exhibit unwavering dedication to our zero-harm principles in support of cultivating a world-class safety culture.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, or Business is required.
Over 10 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing setting, including leadership roles and proficiency with MRP systems.
Exceptional communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills with a focus on results.
