Job Overview

A career opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join our team at RCM Health Care Services in the Bronx. This role is responsible for leading the clinical care team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This challenging position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinical team, developing and implementing orientation programs, and participating in compliance and quality improvement efforts. As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing oversight and supervision to nurse care managers, nutritionists, and other members of the clinical care team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements effective training programs for field staff.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensures seamless day-to-day operations in the absence of the Director of Patient Services.
  • Provides guidance and supervision to nursing staff, including nurse care managers, nutritionists, and paraprofessional scheduling supervisors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in healthcare, with a current NYS RN license and a BSN in Health & Human Services. A minimum of 2+ years of home care experience is required, with 5+ years of assessing patients for home care safety and developing appropriate care plans and plan adjustments experience also essential. Additionally, you will need to have 2+ years of supervisory experience and possess skills in Patient Review Instrument (PRI) assessment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current NYS RN License
  • BSN in Health & Human Services
  • 2+ years of Home Care experience required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Five (5) + years assessing patients for home care safety and developing appropriate care plans and plan adjustments experience required
  • Two (2) + years supervisory experience required
  • Patient Review Instrument (PRI) assessor skills experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
