Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications, and promoting health and wellness within our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including counseling and education on medication use and health-related topics.
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and optimal health outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice, including new medications, treatments, and technologies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
