Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual (AV) Technician to join our team at FireKeepers Casino Hotel. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our AV-based systems, including audio, video, lighting, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance and support for AV-related systems and equipment
  • Maintain and troubleshoot AV systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of SOPs, knowledgebase contributions, and reference guides
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Proficiency in AV systems and equipment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Intermediate experience supporting PC's, peripherals, software, and hardware
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in Audio Visual, Stage production technology, Information Technology, or other technical discipline
  • Experience in office infrastructure and office technologies
  • Knowledge of Windows environments and basic troubleshooting skills
  • AV related system certification
Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to identify and define issues, collect and document appropriate logs/data for analysis, and demonstrate effective analytical and systematic troubleshooting skills.
