At Ultium Cells, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Power Systems Specialist. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and their applications in industrial settings.

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $68,000 and $100,000 per year, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing building systems, electrical storage capacities, and troubleshooting electrical issues in equipment. You will also implement and run various projects while performing duties, review installations and operations to stay aligned with safety and equipment specifications, and provide support to the manufacturing department and assist in establishing electrical designs.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 2-5+ years of related work experience. Prior industrial electrician experience, including a Journeyman's card, is highly desirable. You should have a strong understanding of basic circuits and electronic schematic symbols, and experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) is preferred. Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and presentation, are essential for this position. Ability to work flexible hours occasionally to support team needs is also required.
