EMSL Analytical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst III (Chemistry) to join our team in Cinnaminson, NJ. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting complex chemical analyses and providing high-quality results to support our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze samples to measure chemical and physical properties in various matrices, including air, dust, food, soil, solid, and water.
  • Familiarity with EPA, NIOSH, OSHA, ASTM, USP, and AOAC methodologies.
  • Understanding of ISO 17025 and NELAC accreditation program requirements.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment and instruments.
  • Perform basic chemistry tasks, such as pipetting, volumetric measurements, and analytical balances.
  • Compile data and perform calculations and conversions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical or physical science field.
  • Ten years of experience in a commercial production laboratory.
  • Experience with ICP, ICP-MS, GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC, UPLC, and XRD instruments.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for certain analysis.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work alternate hours and overtime as needed.
