Job Overview

Soliant Health is partnering with a reputable health system to fill a full-time Clinical Pharmacist position in a hospital setting near Spokane, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Document drug information questions, drug utilization evaluation activities, and adverse drug reactions.
  • Understand and address the unique needs of patients across various age groups, as demonstrated by effective documentation in progress notes and pharmacy care plans.
  • Ensure adherence to departmental policies, State and Federal laws, and regulations by pharmacy interns, residents, and technicians.
  • Promote adherence to the approved Drug Formulary by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
  • Ensure proper charging documentation for services provided.
  • Promote and market the pharmacy department to the community, patients, hospital employees, and medical staff.
  • Maintain a positive communication line with medical staff and their employees.
  • Maintain clinical competency through self-study modules and clinical services.
  • Provide teaching, direction, and supervision to pharmacy students, residents, and medical assistants.
  • Participate in professional organizations and support new program development.
  • Complete assigned competency assessments and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director.
Requirements

Demonstrated experience in anticoagulation therapy, bridge therapy, and drug information is required. An advanced degree, ASHP Accredited Residency, and/or Fellowship are preferred but not required.
