UGE Laborer/Groundman

The UGE Laborer/Groundman is a crucial member of our construction team, responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment, and assisting skilled tradesmen with their duties.

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards.
• Assist skilled tradesmen in completing their tasks efficiently.
• Identify utilities and monitor dig crews to prevent utility hits.
• Clean and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the necessary tools and materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience and CDL Class A driver's license.

This role operates in a field environment, requiring extended periods of physical activity, including bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in inclement weather conditions.

The physical demands of this job are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the role.

This position is physically active, with lifting required, and must be able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships, is also required.

Precise hand-eye coordination and the ability to identify and distinguish colors are essential for this role.
