We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America for a travel assignment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an ER Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of caregivers to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care and perform minor medical operations
- Clean and bandage wounds, provide IV therapy, and maintain supplies and medical equipment
- Document medical history, check for allergies, and obtain patient vital signs
- Monitor patients' emotional and physical well-being, and report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
Requirements:
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of 20 pounds
- Good stress management skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
