About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Expert to join our team at Target. As a Food and Beverage Expert, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional guest experience, ensuring a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, and prioritizing the guest's needs over tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest's needs over tasks
  • Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food and Beverage Standards
  • Execute Food and Beverage processes including FDC/RDC replenishment, pulls, stocking, zoning, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, Item Removal, signing and backstock
  • Follow all food safety requirements as outlined through best practice
  • Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales
  • Partner with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distributors to proactively set and maintain DSD POGs, transitions and backroom space
  • Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to best practice
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only)
  • Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
