Job Opportunity at State of Idaho

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the State Veterans Home in Boise. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal nursing care for elderly residents, including vital sign checks and hygiene assistance.
  • Determine resident needs and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with walking and other body movements, and provide transportation as needed.
  • Feed residents who require assistance and maintain a safe and sanitary resident-care environment.
  • Record resident care and report changes in physical or mental status to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
  • Possession of Nursing Assistant Certification in Idaho and listing on the Idaho State Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Ability to pass a criminal history background investigation.
