Medical Director for Endocrine Programs in Upstate New York

Are you an experienced physician seeking a leadership role in endocrinology? Medicorp, Inc. is currently hiring for a Medical Director position in Upstate New York.
About the Opportunity
This is a permanent lead endocrinology position in a beautiful location near Lake Ontario and the Finger Lakes Region. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role and a proven track record of building successful programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a comprehensive system-wide endocrine program
- Provide administrative leadership and strategic direction for the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
- Create a unified approach to financial reporting, quality reporting, recruitment, practice operations, and practice norms
- Develop a strategic growth plan for various areas of endocrinology, including metabolism, obesity, neuro-endocrine, pituitary and adrenal surgical and non-surgical services, thyroid disorders, and endocrine oncology
- Establish a system structure for diabetes education and develop standards for primary care providers
- Promote publications across the division and develop population health initiatives to improve outcomes for patients with endocrine-based disease processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in endocrinology
- Evidence of experience in building successful programs
- Strong leadership and administrative skills
