Medical Director for Family Medicine Residency Program in Upstate New York

About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physician to serve as the medical director of our family medicine residency program. As the leader of this program, you will be responsible for overseeing the education and training of our residents, as well as contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family medicine, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. You will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering high-quality patient care and advancing the field of family medicine.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the family medicine residency program, including overseeing resident education and training.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with the latest evidence-based guidelines.
- Mentor and support residents in their clinical and academic pursuits, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in family medicine, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar setting.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring, with a commitment to resident education and development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
