We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembler Sensor Manufacturing Production Associate to join our team in Cranberry Township, PA.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test complex combustible, electro-chemical, or infrared sensors and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering, with some troubleshooting required.
- Pick material out of the warehouse and perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
- Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer systems.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and test procedures.
- Ability to understand standard units of measure and to set up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
- Ability to perform standard software operations, including SAP.
- Ability to regularly perform work that requires magnification.
- Strong manual dexterity requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
- Ability to concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to infrequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to infrequently stand in a stationary position.
- Ability to use power and hand tools, and custom tooling.
- Ability to work in a team environment and effectively communicate with various levels within the organization, including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
- Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
- Ability to wear ANSI Z87-approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes, lab coat, sleeves, gloves, and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 months of manufacturing and/or other related experience (if lacking minimum months of experience, we will train you through our temporary agency before full-time employment).
