Job Overview

Position Summary: We are in search of an Aircraft Upholstery Specialist responsible for the creation, assembly, stitching, and covering of soft goods for aircraft, adhering to the rigorous standards set by Dassault Falcon Jet.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent education
  • Proven experience in upholstery, sewing, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in aligning complex fabric designs
  • No allergies to chemicals, solvents, paints, adhesives, or materials (natural or synthetic)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and assume unusual positions
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity for detailed tasks

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in aircraft upholstery fabrication
  • Effective problem-solving abilities for practical challenges
  • Skill in interpreting various forms of instructions (written, verbal, diagrams)
  • Training from manufacturing, vocational/technical schools, or relevant college coursework
  • Familiarity with computer software or training
  • Understanding of documentation such as MES, FPS, WI, and blueprints

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and cover aircraft soft goods, including crew and passenger seats, and divans, utilizing 3D models and schematics
  • Maintain quality standards through meticulous craftsmanship
  • Manage materials in accordance with OSHA standards

Compensation: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
