Position Overview:
As an intern at FORVIS, you will acquire essential experience that may assist you in determining your career path in auditing or taxation, or even whether the public accounting sector aligns with your aspirations. You will engage in client projects similar to those assigned to our entry-level associates, gaining insights across various industries while honing your technical skills.

Internship Details:
Depending on the requirements of the local office, internships may be available in audit, tax, or a blend of both disciplines, with options for part-time or full-time commitments. Typically, spring internships span from mid-January through mid-April, while summer internships generally run from June to mid-August.

Your Contributions:
  • Conducting audit assessments on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
  • Collaborating with client personnel to resolve account discrepancies and analyze financial information.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management letter comments and the audit report.
  • Participating in client meetings alongside FORVIS partners and managers.
Candidate Profile:
We seek individuals who demonstrate Forward Vision and possess:
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • The capability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Current pursuit of an accounting degree and eligibility for the CPA exam.
Eligibility:
Applicants for positions with FORVIS must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Compensation:
The salary range displayed is reflective of the market. Compensation for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. Total compensation and benefits include salary, group health plan benefits, 401(K), profit-sharing contributions, flexible time off, and parental leave. FORVIS reserves the right to adjust the salary range based on business needs.
