We are currently seeking dedicated warehouse personnel for our operations.

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Forklift Operator at Graves Foods plays a crucial role in the efficient movement and management of food products within our warehouse or distribution center. This position mandates strict compliance with safety protocols and hygiene standards to uphold the integrity and safety of our food offerings.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Accurately select and handle products, ensuring they are neatly palletized.
  • Utilize a voice picking system to confirm order accuracy upon completion.
  • Safely operate an electric double pallet jack for product transportation.
  • Consistently meet safety and productivity benchmarks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment.
  • Adhere to the attendance policy with regular and timely attendance.
  • Assist in inventory counts and restocking as necessary.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience:
    • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, though not mandatory as on-the-job training is available.
    • Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is advantageous.
    • Ability to meet productivity deadlines and case-per-hour expectations.
    • Strong listening skills to follow instructions accurately.
    • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures and OSHA regulations.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Voice picking experience is a plus.
  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with potential overtime as needed.

COMPENSATION: Starting pay at $17.00 per hour.
