Job Overview

Graves Foods is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at our Jefferson City location. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of food products within our warehouse or distribution center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and handle product, palletizing it neatly on pallets
  • Identify items for selection and ensure accuracy using our voice picking system
  • Operate an electric, double pallet jack safely and efficiently to transport product
  • Maintain safety and productivity benchmarks
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment
  • Regular, timely attendance is required
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience operating a forklift and other warehouse technical equipment is preferred
  • Ability to meet deadlines and case-per-hour requirements
  • Ability to listen, understand, and respond to instruction
  • Operate within Standard Operating Procedure and follow OSHA guidelines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Voice picking experience is preferred
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check
