Position Summary

As a Senior Asset Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the lifecycle of company assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team and leverage your expertise in fixed asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the lifecycle of company assets from acquisition to disposal.
  • Assign and track asset identification numbers to ensure accurate asset management.
  • Maintain precise records of asset-related information.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to oversee Construction in Progress (CIP) and ensure proper capitalization upon project completion.
  • Reconcile fixed asset subsidiary ledgers with the general ledger to ensure accuracy.
  • Evaluate and apply appropriate depreciation methods, recording monthly depreciation entries.
  • Identify and report potential obsolescence of fixed assets to management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal asset management policies and GAAP standards.
  • Conduct periodic audits of fixed assets and perform related analyses as required.
  • Work alongside auditors to prepare fixed asset audit schedules.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in fixed asset accounting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Proficient understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.
