Job Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and overseeing all departmental functions during their shift. Working alongside the management team, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing care in alignment with established protocols, serves as a resource for staff, and embodies the organization's mission and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and care quality.
  • Engages in continuous assessment of patient care quality in collaboration with management.
  • Fosters teamwork among staff and collaborates with experts to enhance service delivery.
  • Promotes a patient-centered approach and addresses service recovery as needed.
  • Implements nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Contributes to staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor resources effectively.
  • Ensures proper inventory management and oversees supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Current Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
