Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor

At JBS USA Holdings, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities related to employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, employment, labor relations, affirmative action, and employment equity programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day administration of personnel policies and practices at assigned locations
  • Oversee and assign employee training and orientation programs
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure alignment with corporate programs
  • Recommend program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirements
  • Submit budget recommendations for personnel operations
  • Coordinate the delivery of effective affirmative action and employee relations programs
  • Assist with separation notices and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations
  • Prepare reports and recommend procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover
  • Represent the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or additional related work experience
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in HR or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations, as well as human resources policies and procedures
  • Considerable skill in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and dealing with confidential information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of benefits administration and management practices
  • Basic understanding of training programs and further development of team members
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
