Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team at The Meadows of Kalida. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Director of Nursing to lead the Nursing Services Department and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Take the lead in staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and high-quality care.
  • Manage administrative duties, including medical records, reports, and evaluations.
  • Evaluate nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform daily rounds to observe residents and ensure nurses have the necessary resources to provide excellent care.
  • Ensure weekend coverage and on-call duties are properly managed.
  • Participate in facility inspections and audits.
Requirements
  • A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care, or related healthcare facility.
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, team building, and leadership skills.
