Healthcare Support Permanent Placement is currently seeking a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Specialist to join our team.
Position OverviewThe role involves performing diagnostic cardiovascular examinations in accordance with physician directives and departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conducts comprehensive cardiovascular assessments as per physician orders.
- Produces preliminary reports for physician evaluation and documents procedures electronically.
- Collaborates with various healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintains professional standards while interacting with patients and their families.
- Communicates effectively with cardiologists and referring physicians regarding critical findings.
- Engages with team leaders and managers to discuss significant clinical findings and workflow status.
- Operates independently while demonstrating strong work ethics and integrity.
Flexible shift options are available.
Required Qualifications- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) in adult echocardiography or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) in vascular ultrasound (to be completed within one year of hire).
- Must hold registration in either Adult Cardiac or Vascular Sonography by ARDMS or CCI.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits must be obtained as mandated by professional registries and national lab accreditation.
