Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive information about the Plans' benefits, eligibility criteria, claims processing, and appeals.
  • Gather essential details to understand the purpose of each inquiry, whether it be a call or a walk-in visit.
  • Draft and submit eligibility appeals, sick leave requests, and basic medical appeals as required.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence and documentation to address member inquiries in compliance with the Plans' regulations.
  • Process various applications, notices, forms, and certifications while ensuring accuracy in the system.
  • Assess eligibility based on Plan guidelines and resolve any related issues or questions.
  • Maintain detailed records of all interactions with members and ensure a professional approach during walk-in visits.
  • Act as a liaison between members and service providers to facilitate effective communication regarding plan benefits and claims.
  • Calculate sick leave balances and refer inquiries to the appropriate departments as necessary.
