Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

  • Complete laboratory requisition forms and ensure specimens are sent to the appropriate laboratories as per insurance agreements.
  • Oversee the inventory and maintenance of medical supplies and instruments in examination and procedure rooms.
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations for cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments.
  • Prepare clinical documentation for patient charts.
  • Schedule surgical procedures and provide patients with necessary pre-operative instructions, coordinating with administrative staff for insurance approvals.
  • Provide support for surgical scheduling as needed.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
Responsible for delivering patient care tailored to the specific needs of various age groups.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations as required.

This includes care for pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.
Effectively assess and manage pain, employing appropriate pain relief strategies while educating patients and families on pain management techniques.
Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacology and ensure correct medication administration according to patient age and clinical status.
Adhere to the five rights of medication administration to minimize errors.

Adjust care plans based on patient responses to treatment and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care daily.

Develop educational plans based on identified learning needs of patients and assess the effectiveness of these plans, involving family members as appropriate.

Assist physicians with medical procedures and perform technical tasks under RN supervision, treating patients and families with dignity and respect.

Recognize and address the psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and their families, maintaining professional interactions and involving them in care planning.


Registered Nurse (RN):

Enhance public relations for the department and institution by maintaining a professional demeanor and participating in community service initiatives as needed.

Ability to resolve patient and family concerns effectively.
Exhibit strong communication skills to engage with diverse age groups and cultures, maintaining a positive attitude consistently.
Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, other departments, and physicians to ensure a harmonious work environment.
Practice the five rights of medication administration diligently.
Demonstrate effective time management to optimize productivity.
Encourage teamwork and seek assistance when necessary.
