We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Medix. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading clinical operations in our Phoenix and Surprise, AZ locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care and oversee the work of Medical Assistants
  • Collaborate with Providers and Center Manager to improve clinical performance and implement performance improvement activities
  • Monitor compliance with national and organizational standards of care and prepare for internal and external quality audits
  • Develop and implement processes for providing excellent customer service and training staff on clinical procedures and policies
  • Ensure adherence to clinical team workflows and maintain current knowledge of state regulations for nursing, medicine, and pharmacy
Requirements:
  • AA/AS degree in Nursing required; BA/BS degree in Nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Administration preferred
  • Valid, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of employment required
  • Minimum of 5 years', current direct nursing/medical work experience required
  • Work in a community-based clinic, public health department or specialization with the senior population preferred
