Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Nurse. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. Your expertise and dedication will make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care for our patients
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with our interdisciplinary team
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
- Document care provided in our electronic system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Collaborate with our Case Manager to ensure seamless care transitions
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
