Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Float Pharmacy Technician to assist in all aspects of our mental health pharmacy operations. This role involves dispensing prescriptions and performing essential administrative tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts. The position entails an 8-hour workday between 8 AM and 6 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
- Accurately fill prescription orders for verification by the supervising pharmacist.
- Manage the ordering, receiving, and storage of pharmacy supplies.
- Process medication orders from wholesalers.
- Maintain inventory records by verifying medication stock and entering data into the system.
- Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Perform various clerical duties as required.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.

This is a full-time float position covering multiple locations, with potential travel throughout the state. You will be expected to provide coverage for any sites that require assistance due to staff absences.

Travel Requirements: Candidates must be prepared to travel across California, particularly from LA County southward. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and arrangements for flights, accommodations, and meals will be provided when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in California.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a retail or clinical Pharmacy Technician.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to accommodate last-minute schedule changes and travel requirements.
- Proficiency in managing travel logistics and expense reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Compensation: The hourly wage for California residents ranges from $16.54 to $32.55, based on various factors including local labor markets and individual qualifications.
