Key Responsibilities

As a Production Line Worker at Building Services of America, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

Production Tasks
  • Operating machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Assembling, packing, packaging, and labeling products as required.
  • Monitoring machines to ensure they are running efficiently and adjusting when necessary.
  • Loading raw materials into machines and replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Performing quality checks on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Safety and Compliance
  • Adhering to all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Reporting any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures, including quality standards and production schedules.
Maintenance and Cleaning
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
  • Keeping work areas clean and organized.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
Efficiency and Productivity
  • Striving to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and suggesting solutions.
Documentation
  • Maintaining accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
  • Completing production-related paperwork as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production is a plus but not always required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and counting.
