You will collaborate with an advisory team dedicated to maintaining consistent communication with clients, ensuring they are on the path to achieving their distinct financial objectives.

This role emphasizes consultative sales, with an expectation to advocate for our advisory services and investment solutions to expand our client base over time.

You will report directly to the Managing Director of Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish trust and confidence with clients to serve as their primary advisor for wealth management.
  • Discuss investment objectives while considering risk tolerance, asset allocation preferences, cash flow needs, tax implications, and potential life changes.
  • Collaborate with the advisory team to execute investment strategies and manage necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee client investment portfolios and assess performance.
  • Provide clients with insights regarding key factors affecting their investments.
  • Advise high net worth individuals and consult with mid-market institutional clients as required.
  • Coordinate the development of detailed wealth management strategies for individuals.
  • Organize the preparation of consulting reports for institutions.
  • Effectively present plans to clients in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop proficiency in our financial planning software and technology.
  • Maintain thorough records of all client and prospect interactions using our CRM system.
  • Participate in regular internal strategy meetings.
  • Adapt your schedule to meet client needs effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial advisory.
  • Series 6, 63, & 65 or Series 7 & 66 required or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Certified Financial Planner or similar professional designation preferred; CPA, CTFA, MBA, or comparable credential.
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator and LinkedIn is advantageous.
  • A proven track record of acquiring new business is a plus.
