The Arc of Delaware County is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality healthcare services to individuals in our Day and Residential Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and interpret medical reports to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Develop and implement specialized healthcare plans to meet the unique needs of our clients.
  • Utilize excellent organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Provide training and education to staff on healthcare-related topics, including OPWDD AMAP and G-tube procedures.
  • Prepare and execute policies and procedures related to healthcare services.
  • Foster a collaborative and flexible work environment to meet the changing needs of our clients.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse License.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field. Registered nurses with less than a Bachelor's degree will be considered based on previous experience.
  • 2 years of experience in the field, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Valid NY Driver's License.
  • OPWDD AMAP Certified, or willingness to receive certification.
  • Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations for New York.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to respond well under pressure.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass our pre-employment screening.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
