Role Summary/Purpose: As the Vice President of Credit Portfolio Management, you will take charge of comprehensive credit risk oversight for key clients.
- You will manage the entire credit risk lifecycle for our esteemed clients.

Essential Responsibilities:
Engage with retail partners to reduce risk for both the organization and the retailer while fostering portfolio growth. Collaborate cross-functionally to promote smart growth and enhance client satisfaction while ensuring portfolio safety and soundness. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and leadership teams to support informed decision-making. Lead initiatives to refine strategies, utilizing champion/challenger methodologies to manage credit and fraud risks. Provide analytical support for promotional pricing and deal structuring. Coordinate resources across multiple sites to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting that meets both internal and external requirements. Align planning cycles with client teams to maintain consistency in business strategies. Offer clear guidance on risk appetite and sustainable growth practices. Maintain a credible challenge to critical decisions and business processes. Undertake additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements: A bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in consumer or commercial Credit/Risk, Finance, or Analytics; or, in lieu of a degree, 8+ years in a similar role. A minimum of 3 years' experience in analyzing large datasets to extract strategic credit insights, with proficiency in SAS, SQL, R, or Python Programming Skills, or other relevant analytical tools.
Desired Characteristics:
Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise presentations for senior management and clients. Strong analytical capabilities, with a comfort in quantitative environments. Experience working within cross-functional teams. Proficient in leveraging advanced technical and analytical skills to achieve strategic objectives. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Familiarity with consumer lending products and practices. Advanced expertise in SAS/SQL or other analytical tools.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Willingness to undergo a drug test, background check, and fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process is required. Compliance with Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act is necessary. New hires must complete 9 months of continuous service before being eligible to apply for other roles. Once this requirement is met, associates must have a minimum of 6 months in position before applying for future non-exempt roles. Employees at level 8 or higher must have at least 18 months in position before applying. All internal candidates must consistently meet performance expectations and obtain managerial approval to apply.
