Key Responsibilities- Provide medication management services to clients with mental or emotional disorders
- Conduct case management services for selected clientele
- Order and stock clinic supplies and medications
- Administer psychotropic medications and monitor side effects
- Coordinate client care with healthcare providers
- Prepare required program reports
- Provide public health information to the general public
- Coordinate clinic programs with other health department programs
- Administer immunizations to adults and children
- Perform clinical diagnostic procedures for detection of selected conditions
- Obtain blood and other specimens; perform laboratory tests as required
- Monitor and report disease as required by health department
- Provide patient counseling and education related to clinical care needs
- Maintain accurate documentation on services provided
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California
- California driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles
- Ability to work in a standard office environment and attend off-site meetings
- Physical ability to sit or remain stationary for long periods
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and community agencies.
