About the Position

Norton Children's Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation physician to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary practice, you will work closely with families to create unique treatment plans that address the needs of each child, including all aspects of their quality-of-life function.

Our practice sees over 400 patients annually, offering specialty care to children with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, spina bifida, spasticity, and many other conditions. We utilize current technology, research, and rehab techniques in addition to play and age-appropriate activities to create personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat pain resulting from injury, illness, or disability condition
  • Collaborate with Camp @ Frazier, an inpatient, intense rehabilitation program of UofL Health - Frazier Rehabilitation Institute for restoring independence
  • Provide comprehensive team approach to maximize skills for daily living and recreation
  • Focus on school reintegration
  • Administer Botox treatment for spasticity, refractory torticollis, and drooling
Qualifications
  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Residency/fellowship certification
  • Kentucky medical license or license eligible
