Line Cook

The Halal Guys - 353 Shrewsbury is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Prepare all food items according to our standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain the highest quality standards.
• Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of products served and ensure that all food is prepared to our guests' satisfaction.
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to ensure a smooth service period.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, rice cooker, and refrigeration equipment.
• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly.
• Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
• Closely follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations and assist others in closing the kitchen.
• Attend all scheduled team member meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty.

• Efficiency and speed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Organization and ability to multitask.
• Ability to perform well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude.
• 2+ years of restaurant experience, specifically grill.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift 30 – 50 lbs regularly, bend, stoop, walk, and perform other physical tasks for hours.
