Executive Chef

The Halal Guys Inc is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to our SOP manual. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.

• Prepare all food items according to The Halal Guys SOP manual
• Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
• Know and comply with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures
• Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, rice cooker, and refrigeration equipment
• Handles, stores and rotates all products properly
• Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
• Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations; assists others in closing the kitchen
• Attends all scheduled team member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty
