About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Professional Athletic Trainer to join our team at Port Richmond High School. As an integral part of our athletic training department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to athletes and ensuring their safety and health.

Job Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain an effective athletic training program, including a functional athletic training room with updated policies and procedures.
  • Provide AT services for athletic events and competitions, creating a safe playing environment by monitoring and controlling environmental risks.
  • Coordinate and manage medical care for athletes, inclusive of preventative care, emergency care, and health records.
  • Act as a workers compensation case manager, submitting insurance information and tracking compensation claims within HIPPA/FERPA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-approved program and BOC certification.
  • Licensed by the State of New York as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Current BLS certification and personal liability insurance.

  • Competitive salary: $ $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
