We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Dane County Jail. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient needs, and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare practitioners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, contributing to individualized treatment planning.
  • Implement treatment programs directed by healthcare practitioners, administering medications and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate in controlled substance counts, adhering to safety techniques and standard precautions.
  • Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
