Job Summary

The Gas Laborer/Groundman is a vital member of our team at MasTec Utility Services, responsible for providing general labor support for our gas distribution and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general labor tasks, including restoration work such as clean up and laying sod at the end of a project.
  • Be available for any unskilled tasks, such as jobsite cleanup and laying sod.
  • Adhere to basic safety policies and procedures.
  • Observe and learn skilled tasks, such as fusing of pipe.
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • 1 or more years of related experience (preferred).
Work Environment:

This job operates in a field environment, requiring extended periods of physical activity, including bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and working in inclement weather conditions.
