Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Coordinator to join our team at the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine.

Job Summary: As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative project oversight, coordinating budget and accounting, space management, recruitment management, and purchasing under the direction of a supervisor. You will also assist in ensuring all required reports are completed and submitted on time, monitor study performance, analyze and review results, and develop and implement new protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing for simulation training, including reserving simulation environments, preparing equipment, and ordering cadavers;
  • Communicate with internal staff and external customers, negotiating with vendors and obtaining quotes for equipment;
  • Provide administrative support under the direction of a supervisor, including recruiting, purchasing, and tracking progress;
  • Assist in overseeing and managing collection, maintenance, analysis, and evaluation of data used in grant submissions, presentations, and publications;
  • Recruit surgical staff to participate in simulation training;
  • Track travel reservations for participating HJF and surgical staff;
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required;
  • Minimum of 0-2 years experience required;
  • Strong knowledge of organizational objectives, federal budget process, office automation, project management principles, and good communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently, use sound judgment in solving problems, and coordinate complex systems and programs simultaneously.

Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree is required. Experience in program coordination or related field is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits: The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
