Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate Metals Stamping operations to maintain production schedules, quality, and cost standards.
  • Ensure quality of work, efficient material and work flow, proper use of equipment, and application of production methods.
  • Organize and assign work to utilize employees' knowledge, skills, and abilities to expedite work schedules and obtain efficient work performance.
  • Improve productivity through employee training, lean manufacturing practices, and supporting business system goals and objectives.
  • Lead employee training and meetings to maintain open communication.
  • Evaluate work performance and counsel employees to maintain safe and efficient work performance.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment through 5S implementation.
  • Ensure conformance with company policies, work rules, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous metals stamping experience.
  • Previous supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques.
  • Knowledge of TS 16949 requirements.
  • Strong leadership, motivation, and supervisory qualities.
  • Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate reactivity in critical situations.

Working Conditions

  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Position requires sitting, walking, or standing for at least 40 hours per week.
  • Operate stamping equipment, overhead crane, and forklift.
  • Duties may require bending, twisting, and climbing ladders.
  • May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as necessary.
