Job Title: Financial Advisor

At Federal Express Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to join our team. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing technical direction, project leadership, and coordination of effort among financial work groups for analysis of diverse business proposals, development of business plans/strategic plans, and on-going financial technical advice to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyses regarding financial and/or operational performance on such issues as productivity, operational statistics, cost trends, and revenue trends.
  • Assist with assigned projects by performing, analyzing, and tracking financial, statistical, and computer modeling techniques to support department recommendations.
  • Maintain analysis models to support recommendations provided to management.
  • Review financial plans for completeness and consistency with established objectives and priorities, including monitoring accomplishments of plans.
  • Assist management in determining and defining the business impact (both operational and economic) on the operation of proposed systems, capital investments, and/or product changes.
  • Prepare, report on, and track feasibility/profitability studies related to proposed corporate programs and strategies.
  • Assist and provide input in the interpretation of new/changing securities rules, regulations, policies, or laws; update processes for compliance to rules and regulations as well as department procedures.
  • Plan and execute remediation efforts for any identified issues with minimal guidance/support from supervisor/manager.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance, or related discipline.
  • Five (5) years directly related experience in financial analysis, financial planning, business consulting, project management, accounting, audit, or operational analysis.
  • Strong analytical, human relations, and communication skills.
