Job Summary: Chipton-Ross is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Archbald, PA. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and integrating LabVIEW and TestStand applications for Automated Test Systems (ATE).

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and integrate LabVIEW and TestStand applications for ATE
  • Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of ATE
  • Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls
  • Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment
  • Good presentation skills
  • Software developer with National Instruments LabVIEW and Test Stand experience
  • We are developing test software to test CCAs with FPGAs and multiple serial communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, RS422, SPI, I2C, RS232, 1553, CAN
  • We are seeking assistance in developing test software for several of these protocols
  • Our test equipment is Windows OS and PXI instrumentation based. Our Interface Test Adapters (ITAs) are in the detailed design/fabrication phase
  • The SW developer would work under the guidance of our lead software developer

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of LabVIEW experience
  • 2-4 years of Test Stand experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 2-4 years of Hardware Integration experience
  • 2-4 years of Programming experience
