Shift hour: 4/10-1st shift. Onsite

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at LanceSoft, Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience with LabVIEW and TestStand, as well as a strong background in software development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and integrating LabVIEW and TestStand applications for Automated Test Systems (ATE). They will contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of ATE. The engineer will correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.

The Software Development Engineer will work under the guidance of our lead software developer and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including developing test software for multiple serial communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, RS422, SPI, I2C, RS232, 1553, CAN.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience with LabVIEW and TestStand. They will also have 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and good oral and written communication skills. The ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment is also required.
