Job Summary:

As a Commercial Lines Insurance Customer Service Agent, you will play a vital role in maintaining client satisfaction and loyalty through exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients in managing and understanding their commercial insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance claims and policy changes efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide detailed explanations of insurance policies and coverage options to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation, guaranteeing seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Distribute and handle commercial mail, ensuring timely and secure processing.
  • Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy, addressing all concerns promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with sales agents to ensure clients receive the most suitable coverage for their needs.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining high performance under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient task management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor, with a client-centric approach that prioritizes satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proficiency in office software and technology, facilitating smooth communication and data management.
  • A Property & Casualty Insurance License is preferred but not required at the time of hire. The selected candidate will be expected to obtain this license within 60 days of employment, with all associated costs covered by the agency.
