Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Event Housekeeper is a part-time role focused on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. This position encompasses a variety of cleaning responsibilities, such as vacuuming, waste disposal, surface sanitation, and restroom upkeep. The weekly hours are flexible and will depend on the availability of the employee and the event calendar, which may include shifts across all times of the day.

Compensation:
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $22.50.

Benefits:
Part-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, OVG grants part-time, seasonal, and internship staff one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, accumulating up to 48 hours annually.

Venue Information:
The Blue Arena at The Ranch Events Complex is a versatile venue in Loveland, Colorado, with a seating capacity of 6,800. Opened in September 2003, it serves as the home for the Colorado Eagles of the American Hockey League. Managed by OVG360 and OVG Hospitality, this facility is part of a rapidly expanding organization overseeing over 300 venues across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks as per established schedules.
  • Manage all cleaning aspects during events and ensure thorough cleaning before and after events.
  • Restock janitorial supplies and report inventory needs.
  • Utilize various cleaning equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.
  • Execute housekeeping duties, ensuring cleanliness of floors, restrooms, furniture, and other areas.
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly as directed by management.
  • Review event documentation to understand specific cleaning requirements and timelines.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Supervise temporary staff as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding scheduling and availability.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repair needs to the Operations Manager.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to uphold the cleanliness and success of the venue.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in janitorial or maintenance roles.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards is a plus but not mandatory.
