Materials Inspection and Testing Specialist Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Materials Inspection and Testing Specialist to join our team at Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates in Dover, DE. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in ensuring the quality of construction materials used in various projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performing field observations at construction sites
  • Sampling and testing of construction materials including soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel
  • Documenting findings and preparing accurate daily logs

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to lift up to 60-80 pounds, and have a valid driver's license. Experience with similar roles or certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc. will be considered a plus. We encourage EE/Minorities and Women to apply.
