About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automated ATM Testing and Support Specialist to join our team at Capital One.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing automated teller machine (ATM) software release validation testing and logging defects in an issue tracking system. This role requires a solid understanding of ATM software stack and installations, as well as experience with software development life cycle and how testing applies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience working with application packaging, identifying software anomalies in a QA ATM test environment, using Jira, Windows 10, and knowledge of Windows 11. A bachelor's degree or military experience is also required.

In this role, you will work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and support teams to analyze, develop, maintain, and execute ATM software installation procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Performing software release validation testing and logging defects in Jira
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of ATM software stack and installations
  • Executing software installations on ATM machines
  • Curing ATM hardware device and configuration issues
  • Manual testing of ATM software
  • Working with project teams to provide packaging and deployment support
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year experience with application packaging
  • At least 1 year experience identifying software anomalies in a QA ATM test environment
  • At least 1 year experience using Jira
  • At least 1 year experience with Windows 10 and knowledge of Windows 11
