Key Responsibilities
  • As a skilled verification engineer with expertise in I/O subsystems and SoCs, you will contribute to the team responsible for ensuring the functional accuracy of PCIe, DDR, and other I/O components in SoC RTL.
  • You will collaborate with the project team to analyze and assess the architecture and design specifications, and to formulate a comprehensive functional verification strategy.
  • Your primary duties will involve developing test plans, creating SystemVerilog/Verilog testbenches and tests, and troubleshooting test failures and issues.
  • Additionally, you will play a role in enhancing and refining the verification methodologies utilized by the team.
  • You will engage closely with other teams on aspects such as design microarchitecture, verification methodologies, and system performance.
  • Your guidance and support will be essential for other team members to ensure the successful execution of project tasks.
  • You will also engage in project management activities, including planning and scheduling, while mentoring junior team members.
Essential Skills & Experience:

To qualify, you should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering (or a related field) along with 10-15 years of experience in the design or verification of advanced compute subsystems or SoCs. Additionally, you will need:

  • A solid grasp of digital hardware design and Verilog HDL.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with contemporary verification strategies essential for advanced SoC development, including software-based methodologies.
  • Experience in verifying subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, and Ethernet.
  • Proficiency in test plan development and tracking.
  • Experience in verifying RTL for SoC initiatives.
  • Familiarity with low-level programming, including C and Assembler.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Perl or Python.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with Arm-based architectures and/or ARM System Architectures.
  • Familiarity with SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM/e.
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented programming principles.
  • Knowledge or experience in:
    • Formal verification techniques.
    • Clock domain crossing verification.
    • Power-aware verification.
    • Porting peripheral driver software.
    • Development and deployment of complex Arm SoCs across various emulation platforms, along with hands-on test bench development.
